Today’s eye candy comes courtesy of one of my favorite men - Chris Evans.
It’s easy to forget but before he was our Captain America, Chris was a big flamer… no, wait… I mean, he played a flaming… um… no, let me try that again… he was in the “Fantastic Four” as the Human Torch! (There we go! Whew!)
Jared and Jensen are like the strong anesthetic you get for hanging tough through all of Supernatural’s pain. After the show kicks you in the face with a steel-toed work boot, J2 hands you some ice and chicken soup and tells you funny stories about eyelashes and sweat towels. They’re like a happy alternate universe Sam and Dean who have great lives, enjoy their jobs and didn’t have all of their smiling muscles atrophied by pain and heartbreak. And as they tell you to tune in next week, their eyes sparkle ominously.
Happy Memorial Day
Thank you to all of our veterans, servicemen and servicewoman for all they have done and all of the sacrifices they have made for us and this great country.

Not my gif, I’m stealing it, sorry about that…but…I needed to point this out…
DID YOU REALIZE CASTIEL IS (ALMOST) CRYING THERE??
Just saying…
This is probably the first time he’s ever showed or felt that much emotion in his entire existence. Because here he is trying to get the only person who’s had a true influence on him to understand that he’s just making his own decisions like Dean taught him how to do, he’s just trying to do right even when everything seems like it’s going wrong. He’s a lost angel with too many mistakes under his plate to turn back and the only one’s he’s ever truly loved turning against him.
He’s seen humans hurt before, he’s seen emotion and even felt a little himself, but nothing compares to losing those you love. Sometimes the good of the world doesn’t even seem good enough a reason to go on anymore.
But he will because that’s what he was taught.
